I own several rental homes. One day I realized something. Every question about my homes came back to me.
What paint color did we use? Who fixed the AC? Where’s the warranty? Did we ever replace that appliance?
It didn’t matter that I had folders. Emails. Photos. Receipts. Notes. Somehow, I was still the filing system.
I didn’t want every decision and detail about my home routing through me anymore. I wanted to hand it off.
